wHat is cRossfit?

CrossFit is defined as “constantly varied, functional movement, performed at high intensity”, CrossFit is a sport whose speciality is not specialising. The idea is to be good at many things, across a range of fitness domains, all of which can be measured and re-tested. Some of these include speed, strength, coordination, flexibility, accuracy, endurance and power.

Despite what many people think, CrossFit is for EVERYONE – not just elite athletes. At RMA we are proud of the diverse range of athletes we develop, from high school students, professional sportsmen, mums, grandparents, army servicemen and everyone in between. The beauty of the sport is that it can be scaled to any individuals’ skills and capabilities.

The programming, designed by head coach and owner, Kaveh Arya, is second to none, and is also being implemented by selected coaches both interstate and overseas.

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree and intensity, not kind. CrossFit is fun, challenging and a close community experience and we’ll turn what was once your boring exercise program into the sport of fitness.
